Foley would like to thank
for their generous donation.
The
4th graders had a used book sale and donated all of the proceeds
to Friends of Foley with the intention of having the donation
matched by Alan Shawn Feinstein during the "Feinstein
Challenge" going on throughout the month of December.
Having children thinking about the welfare of our animals
means so much to Foley and he wants to acknowledge each of
his friends by name. Here is the letter the class sent with
their donation along with all of their signatures. Foley says
"Woof", thank you so much for thinking of us!"

Foley is our shelter guardian. He came to us several years
ago. He had been badly abused, and mistrusted anyone who approached
him. With time, patience and guidance, Foley has come to believe
in us and trust us. In turn, he has taken to protecting the
shelter, its foster residents, and human friends. Foley has
found a home at the shelter, and a purpose, but it is time
to offer more to Foley and the homeless animals that come
into our care. Therefore Friends of Foley was formed to aid
in this mission.
